Little Diamonds Baby Girl Quilt

Riley Blake sent me a bunch of extra fabric for the pincushion project I'll be posting about in a week... so much extra fabric that I was able to use it to put together an entire baby quilt! Isn't that fun? Who doesn't love free fabric? Anyway, the line was really fun to work with. One of the prints has little girls and clotheslines on it and another print has bikes, scooters, and wagons on it--not your standard fabrics!

Houndstooth Tutorial: Coming Soon

I finally finished the quilt that I made for the Riley Blake tutorial I'm doing in July. Now comes the tricky part of writing the instruction on how to do it! This fabric was so much fun to work with and I actually really enjoyed using the pale colors much more than I thought I would. Here's a little sneak peek at it:

(Or, you can go visit my shop and see some not-so-sneaky pictures of it. I'm not patient. I went ahead and listed it...)

Max & Whiskers Baby Boy Quilt

I really love the simple stripe design of the Little Wheels quilt. Since it sold a few weeks ago, I figured I should do another one for the shop. This one got a little dog and bone appliqued on it for detail. I always think a little bit of applique goes a long way.

More Fall Runners

Two more Fall runners are headed to the shop this week. And check out the quilting on the second one--my fellow quilting friend Allison showed me a great (and easy!) technique for creating an orange peel design. I'm really happy with how these both turned out.
