Quilting Inspiration

It has been a long time since I've looked at a blog that has made me literally drop my jaw. Yesterday, I discovered Jenny Pedigo's Sew Kind of Wonderful. Go check it out. You won't be disappointed. Even though I don't have a long-arm quilter, I felt very inspired to try some more difficult quilting designs on my regular machine. I had a mini flag laying around that I pieced last month and decided to experiment on it.
Here's how it turned out.

I think it's easier to see the detail from the back.

It was fun, different, challenging, and all that other good stuff that leaves you feeling satisfied.

Christmas Sewing

I've spent the last week or so finishing up some Christmas projects. Here in Phoenix, it's still warm and sunny but we've got to be having some cold weather coming any day now... First, I finished my Frolic block runner that I started a few months ago. I also made a Christmas runner similar to the Halloween one I did this year. Enjoy the pictures and have a great weekend!

Phoenix Holiday Boutique: Coming Soon

For those of you in Phoenix, on Saturday, November 16th from 9 am to 2 pm there will be huge holiday craft/gift fair at the North Phoenix Baptist Church on Central Ave. and Bethany Home.

One reason you should come is that I will be a vendor there! This is my first time selling at a boutique and I'm excited to see how it goes. Wish me luck!
